Biomedical Engineering Graduate Student Professional Development Scholarship

UTSA Application for 2024-2025

Overview:

As of 2023, BMEGS is happy to introduce the BME Graduate Student Professional Development Scholarship. This award is sponsored by the UTSA Department of Biomedical and Chemical Engineering with the hope of promoting excellence in research dissemination and awarding students who are presenting cutting-edge research at top-tier National and International conferences – prioritizing the Annual Biomedical Engineering Society Meeting. Award funds will be given up to a maximum amount of $250. Students may only receive one award per academic year. Applications will be reviewed by a committee of BMEGS-SA representatives and faculty members at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. Once a decision has been made, you will be notified via email.

  • Enrolled in 6 graduate hours at UTSA

  • Tentative itinerary during the days of the conference/meeting.
